A friend of mine and I were talking about the election the other day and we realized how truly disappointed we both are with this election.
We don’t like either of the candidates, for different reasons. Of course we know who we’re voting for, and I’ll admit that our reasons for this are less than stellar. The one we’re voting for is just the lesser of 2 evils, in our opinion.
But what’s truly disappointing is the lack of options. This year, we have a socialist and a democrat. Where’s a conservative? Where’s an independent?
I want a cadidate that will reduce government (yeah, I know I’m dreaming), allow people to be people, stop sticking the government’s nose into private business and into commerce. Ahhh, a girl can dream. But I know I will forever be sorely disapointed.

Only a month to go till the madness ends, I hope. There are a few things regarding the campaigns that I just have to get off my chest.
1. Voting for someone based solely on his or her skin color is racist. (more…)
